Is a photographer or videographer included with my rental?

No, they are not included. However, one of the owners is a photographer and is occasionally available for shoots. If he is available and you reserve with him, you will receive a discount on your space rental.

Where do I park?

There is parking available in front of the building. Parking is “First come, first serve”, as the parking belongs to the city. There is additional parking available in front of the nearby businesses. Please watch for any signage that does not allow parking.

What is not allowed?

  • No FULLY nude photography, videography, and explicit sexual activity (please note: TASTEFUL boudoir photography is permitted,

  • No smoking or vaping allowed within 15 feet of the entrance, exits, windows, and air take vents

  • No recreational or illicit drugs

  • No alcohol consumed by Renters and associates under the age of 21

  • No glitter, paper confetti, fake snow, smoke bombs

  • No fire, however, Renter may use unlit candles

  • No fireworks

  • No affixing anything to walls or rolling backdrops including nailing, hanging or taping (painters tape is OK)

  • All children and pets must be supervised at all times

  • The renter may not sublease the Studio to any third party

Can we enter and set up early?

The reservation starts at the start of your scheduled time. However, If the studio is not being used, you may arrive up to 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. NO EARLY ENTRY IS ALLOWED IF THE STUDIO IS OCCUPIED. Please book enough time for your setup and tear-down. Rental time does not include a setup or tear-down time grace period. "Creative Corner Workshops /Events" include a 30 min setup/tear-down period.

What are your refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling policies?

You can reschedule/cancel reservations up to 3 hours prior to the start of the rental period and receive a credit to use towards a future rental with no additional charge. We do not offer refunds for cancellations; this credit will expire in 6 months

Are pets allowed in the studio?

Yes, if it is a service animal. We also ask that you clean up after your pet before leaving. If bringing in a service animal, please let us know ahead of time. If any non-service animals are brought in, an additional cleaning fee starting at $300 will apply.

Can we have food and drink in the studio?

Yes. Food must not be used on the props/furniture. A table is provided for food. No messy foods and drinks are not allowed. . An additional cleaning fee will be applied for any trash left around the studio or damaged furniture or amenities. Alcohol is allowed if you follow Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission guidelines and ensure the people drinking are of legal age.

Can I play music while we shoot?

Yes, you can certainly play music. A Bluetooth speaker is provided. The studio has soundproofing to help reduce the level of sound that can be heard outside of the building. Live music is acceptable.

Is smoking allowed in the studio?

No smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. If you are using a smoke machine for creative effect, it must be a water-based fog solution.

Can I bring my own lights and props?

Yes. We recommend that you bring your own lights. You may also bring additional props to enhance your experience and the vibe you’re looking for. We are a natural light studio. We do not provide additional lighting equipment beyond the overhead lighting.

Are restrooms available inside of the studio?

Yes. We have individual restrooms for men and women that also are spacious enough to be used as a changing room.

How far in advance can I reserve my session?

As far in advance as you would like.

What is the minimum number of hours I need to book?

We have no minimum requirement for reservations. Our shortest session available is 30 minutes.

When I reserve, will the space be shared with other creators?

No. Your reservation is a private session with your guests. We don’t currently offer shared reservations. The space is all yours. Occasionally our creative team may drop by for “Behind The Scenes” content with your consent and approval to be shared on social media.

How many guests are allowed in the studio?

We allow up to 10 guests in the studio per reservation, unless you have reserved a "Creative Corner workshop/Event", which allows up to 35 guests. If your Reservation requires more than the allotted guests, please email us at booking@Blankcanvasdfw.com to request special accommodation.

Is the studio available for gatherings?

Yes. You are welcome to host an event. We call them “Creative Corner Workshop Events.” These events are not parties. Tables, chairs, Bluetooth speakers, a projector, and other amenities are available, for your use. You can host gathers for 35+ people. If you are expecting more than 35 people, contact us before booking to discuss details.

What happens if we stay over our allotted time?

It is vital that you complete your session on time as other guests would want to start their sessions on time. For every minute you stay over your reservation time, there is an additional charge. Please ensure you book enough time for your setup and tear-down. Your rental time does not include a setup or tear-down time grace period before or after your reservation.
